Doing Good Well wins the Silver Medal in the Philanthropy/Charity/Nonprofit category of the 2009 Axiom Business Book Awards.

Gold: Working Across Generations: Defining the Future of Nonprofit Leadership,
by Frances Kunreuther, Helen Kim & Robby Rodriguez

Silver: Doing Good Well: What does (and does not) make sense in the nonprofit world, by Willie Cheng

Bronze: Field Guide to Developing, Operating and Restoring Your Nonprofit Board,
by Carter McNamara

The Axiom Business Book Awards recognizes the year’s best business books and their creators. The goal of the awards “is to celebrate the innovative, intelligent, and creative aspects of the books that make us think, see, and work differently every day.”

The 2009 Axiom Business Book Awards recognizes books published in 2008. Doing Good Well was published towards the end of 2008 and a late entrant by the publishers to the award.
